Dr. Delonga is a practicing physician and licensed professional engineer specializing in the relationship between injuries and accidents. He utilizes engineering analysis along with the evaluation of medical records and anatomic/physiological imaging to determine if the injury mechanism and severity is consistent with the accident event. Dr. DeLonga received his Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and his Master's and Ph.D degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He later completed his medical training at the University of Miami School of Medicine and Harvard School of Public Health and is board certified in the areas of Diagnostic Radiology, Aerospace and Occupational Medicine and Nuclear Medicine.
Michael Samaan received his Ph.D. from Old Dominion University in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering in 2014. His research interests include the use of biomechanics and musculoskeletal imaging to better understand the mechanisms and effects of lower extremity joint diseases such as osteoarthritis on joint health and function. Dr. Samaan teaches courses in biomechanics.
